Automatic Retractable Lane Delineator
The RETRACTOR is an Automatic Retractable Lane Delineator (ARDL) that guides and channelizes traffic at locations requiring repetitive lane usage or traffic pattern changes. It's ideal for use in toll plaza lanes, tunnels, reversible lanes, parking control garages and more.
The RETRACTOR's durable and flexible channelizing delineator post automatically raises into position to provide positive guidance to traffic. When not in use, the system's electric motor quickly lowers the delineator post into a recessed cartridge.
Conventional channelizing devices, such as cones, drums or vertical panels, require workers to manually change, reset and maintain device locations. This practice requires workers to enter the travel lanes, creating a significant safety problem. Manual operations are also time-consuming and labor intensive. The RETRACTOR delineator posts raise and lower automatically from a safe, remote location, eliminating potential safety hazards.
